Welcome to my in-home studio! As a mom of four, I know how important it is to capture life’s fleeting moments. My goal is to create an experience where you feel relaxed and at ease, knowing that every detail is taken care of with love and intention. I want you to focus on being present with your baby or family, while I focus on capturing memories that will last a lifetime.
More Than Just a Studio Session
What you see during your session is only part of the magic. Behind the scenes, I dedicate countless hours to ensuring each session is as seamless and beautiful as possible.
✨ Continuous Learning & Growth – I regularly attend newborn workshops, network with other photographers, and work closely with my mentor to refine my craft. I also take time to scout new locations for future outdoor sessions, ensuring I have the best spots for maternity, senior, and birthday shoots.
💡 Practice Makes Perfect – I constantly practice my lighting techniques on my family and even a lifelike baby model to perfect my newborn posing. This ensures that when it's time for your session, every detail—from lighting to angles—is just right.
🎀 Handmade Touches – I personally make many of the wraps and headbands used in my newborn sessions, adding a unique and custom touch to your baby's portraits.
🏡 A Family Effort – My husband has played a huge role in turning our home into a part-time studio. He helped install my backdrop system and curtain divider, allowing me to create a dual-purpose space that works beautifully for sessions. When he’s not lending a hand, my kids or mentor step in to help behind the scenes, from setting up to keeping things running smoothly.

A Cozy, Personalized Experience
When you step into my home, you'll immediately feel the care I put into every session. My space may be limited, but it's thoughtfully organized to create a welcoming and comfortable environment. I keep a cozy, quiet area to ensure your baby or little one is comfortable during the session, with everything from snacks to soothing music at your fingertips. You’ll have a comfortable seat to relax as we go through the session.
I understand that a newborn session can take time, and I’m committed to ensuring you feel as comfortable as possible. Whether it’s a peaceful newborn session or a lively cake smash, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
My Process: Safety, Comfort, and Connection
Your baby’s comfort and safety are my top priority. My in-home studio is equipped with everything needed for your little one’s session: size-one diapers, wipes, a Bluetooth speaker for soothing sounds, a heater for warmth, and pacifiers on hand. Every detail is taken care of so you can relax knowing that your baby is in safe hands.
During a newborn session, I’ll begin with family and sibling portraits to ensure we capture those precious moments. Once that's complete, I’ll ask the siblings to wait in the car, take a break, or even head to the park down the road to enjoy some time while I continue with the newborn photos. This ensures a smooth flow of the session without distractions, and gives everyone a break.
Creating a Seamless Experience
Since my space is limited, I’ve designed it so that each part of the session is as smooth and comfortable as possible. For example, when you come in for your ordering and viewing appointment, I ask that siblings or extra little ones either wait in the car or play nearby, so we can focus on reviewing your beautiful images.
I also provide a private room or my personal bedroom for nursing moms. Feel free to bring a nursing cover or use the space for some quiet time if needed. My aim is to ensure that both you and your little one feel comfortable and cared for.
Real Life, Real Moments
At times, you might hear the sound of my kids being their silly selves or a little background noise. I want to reassure you that this is just my kids having fun and being part of the magic. My pets are also kept safely away during sessions, so there’s no need to worry about any dander.
My approach is laid-back, understanding, and focused on capturing authentic moments that are true to you and your family. Whether you’re here for a newborn session or a cake smash, my goal is to make the experience as stress-free and enjoyable as possible while creating timeless, meaningful images for you to treasure.
